How the work actually happens.

Five steps, real turnaround days, and a stated number of revisions — published here so you know exactly what you're buying into before you buy.

The five steps

  1. 01

    Brief

A short project brief covering goals, audience, and existing material.

    1 business day after purchase.

You, filling out the brief — no call required yet.

  2. 02

    Kickoff call

A confirmed scope, voice direction, and delivery date.

Scheduled within 2–3 business days of your brief.

Your strategist, your writer, and whoever owns the project on your side.

  3. 03

    First draft

A complete first draft of the full deliverable.

By the date stated on your package.

Your writer drafts; your strategist reviews before it’s sent.

  4. 04

    Revisions

A revised draft addressing your markup.

Within 3–5 business days per round, depending on scope.

You mark up or list changes; your writer and a second editor revise.

  5. 05

    Final delivery

The finished copy, in a ready-to-use format, plus a short handoff note.

On the date agreed at kickoff.

Your strategist confirms delivery and answers any final questions.

Frequently asked questions

What if we miss the kickoff call?

We’ll reschedule — it pushes your draft date back by the same amount. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for how rescheduling and cancellation windows work.

Can revisions happen over email instead of a call?

Yes — most revision rounds are handled by written markup or a comment thread. A call is only needed if changes are substantial enough to need a live conversation.

What happens if we need changes after the revision rounds are used up?

Additional revision rounds can be added at a fixed per-round rate — we’ll quote it before starting, never bill it after the fact.

Is the process different for monthly retainers?

The five steps repeat each month at a smaller scale — brief and kickoff happen once at the start of the retainer, then each month’s batch goes through its own draft-and-revise cycle on the agreed schedule.

Do we get to talk to the actual writer, or only an account manager?

Your writer and strategist are both on the kickoff call and stay reachable through the project — there’s no account-manager layer between you and the person writing your copy.
