What cookies we use

copywritingunion.com uses two categories of cookies and similar local storage. Every non-essential category is off by default and only turns on if you actively opt in.

Necessary cookies

Always active — these can't be switched off because the site can't function properly without them.

Cookie preference	Your Accept/Reject/Preferences choice, so we don't ask again for 6 months
Checkout progress	In-progress checkout details, so a page refresh doesn't lose your entries

Analytics cookies

Off by default. If you accept, we load Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic patterns — pages visited, approximate location, device type, referring site — so we can improve the site. This script is only requested from Google's servers after your explicit opt-in; reject or ignore the banner, and no analytics request is ever made, verifiable in your browser's network tools. Google Analytics 4 sets its own cookies once active; see Google's privacy policy for details on how Google processes that data.

Managing your preferences

When you first visit, a banner offers three equally-weighted choices: Accept all, Reject all, and Preferences. Preferences opens a panel with the two categories above — Necessary is always on; Analytics is a real toggle, off unless you turn it on. Your choice is stored for 6 months. To change it at any time, use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page, which reopens this same preference panel.
