Who these terms cover

These Terms of Service govern your use of copywritingunion.com and any copywriting services you purchase from Copywriting Union LLC ("Copywriting Union," "we," "us"), a company registered in the State of Ohio (Ohio Secretary of State entity number 4718326), with its office at 2838 Harrison Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45211, USA. By using this site or purchasing a package, you agree to these terms.

Our services

We provide copywriting services sold as fixed-price packages, described on each service page and summarized on Pricing. Each package states what's included: scope (pages, products, posts, or emails), turnaround, and revision rounds. Work outside a package's stated scope is out of scope unless agreed and priced separately in writing before it starts.

Ordering & payment

Packages are purchased through the checkout on this site. Placing an order is an offer to buy at the listed price; we confirm the order and its terms by email. Our checkout currently runs in demonstration mode: no live payment is processed, and no card details are transmitted or stored (see the notice on the checkout page). Monthly packages, identified as such on the package listing, bill on a recurring monthly basis starting on the date of your first order, until cancelled per the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Revisions & delivery

Each package includes a stated number of revision rounds, delivered against the turnaround listed on that package. A revision round means one full pass where you provide consolidated feedback and we return a revised draft addressing it. Turnaround times run in US business days from the later of (a) your kickoff call or (b) our receipt of any materials we need from you to start. Delays caused by late feedback, missing materials, or unavailability on your side extend the delivery date accordingly.

Intellectual property

Once a package is paid in full and delivered, you own the copy we write for that project and may use it as you see fit. Until full payment, all drafts remain our property. We retain the right to reference completed projects internally and, unless you tell us otherwise in writing, to describe our work in general, non-identifying terms (for example, "a SaaS company's homepage") for our own portfolio and marketing purposes — never using your name, logo, or specific business details without your separate written permission. This site itself — its design, code, and the marketing copy on it — is the property of Copywriting Union and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Confidentiality

We treat project materials you share with us — drafts, brand guidelines, business information — as confidential, used only to deliver your project. We don't share it with other clients or third parties except the service providers described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site to submit false information, attempt to interfere with its operation, or use content you don't have rights to as the basis for a project brief in a way that would infringe someone else's rights. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order, with a refund per our Refund & Cancellation Policy, if a project request is unlawful, infringing, or outside what we reasonably provide.

Disclaimers

We write copy to a professional standard and to the scope agreed at kickoff. We don't guarantee specific business outcomes — sales, rankings, conversion rates, or revenue — no copywriter can promise a market response, and any suggestion that they can should be treated skeptically. The site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties beyond what's stated in these terms.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Ohio law, Copywriting Union's total liability arising from any order or use of this site is limited to the amount you paid for the specific package giving rise to the claim. We aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business opportunities.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Hamilton County, Ohio, and you consent to that venue.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services or the law change. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision; continued use of the site or a new order after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
