Refund & Cancellation Policy

How this policy applies

This policy covers every package purchased through copywritingunion.com. Because our services are custom, deliverable-based work rather than physical goods, refund eligibility depends on how far a project has progressed rather than a fixed return window.

Before kickoff

Cancel at least 5 business days before your scheduled kickoff call for a full refund, no questions asked.

After kickoff, before the first draft

If you cancel after your kickoff call has happened but before we deliver a first draft, you're eligible for a 50% refund of the package price. The other 50% covers the strategy and planning work already completed at kickoff.

After the first draft is delivered

Once we've delivered a first draft, the project moves into its revision rounds rather than a refund path — your package's included revision rounds are the way to get the work to where it needs to be. We don't offer refunds at this stage, but additional revision rounds are always available at a fixed rate if you need more than what's included.

Website Copy Audits

Audits (Page Audit and Site Audit) are fully refundable any time before the audit itself is delivered. Once delivered, the audit is complete work and isn't refundable — it's a finished diagnostic document, not a draft awaiting revision.

Monthly packages

Monthly packages — SEO Blog & Content Writing (Growth/Authority), Email Marketing Copywriting (Authority), and Ad & Social Copywriting (Growth/Authority) — can be cancelled at any time with at least 14 days' notice before your next billing date. Cancelling stops future billing; it doesn't refund the current month, which you've already received, or are receiving, work for.

How to request a cancellation or refund

Email support@copywritingunion.com with your order reference (found in your confirmation email, format CU-YYYYMMDD-XXXX) and we'll confirm which stage your project is in and process accordingly. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 10 business days.
